Nagging

Knew it would happen, being nagged all the way from home to office.
What a start for a Monday morning...

This weekend have to get a lot of things done, haven't really gotten the time for myself to settle things on my end.

Shifting real soon, mixed feelings, excited yet tiring, coz whenever I see the tiny little small things in my room that I need to shift it to the new place, it's like endless... Also the sad thing is I can't buy the ideal furniture for my room yet as I have to contribute more than half of my savings to the house... Haih...

Mentally tired... :(

Actually...

Actually....

I HAVE A LOT TO UPDATE ON MY BLOG!

Every morning when I remind myself that " Weee I want to update on this and that..."
Then when I step into the office...
That's it, time flies and when I finish everything, it's time to go home, and when I reach home, I just crash on the bed...

I need to manage a bit of my time >.< Looking forward for tonight's movie Phobia 2
I just love horror movies...

Oh oh wait, any Taylor Swift fans here? Going to share a video with you, but make sure you don't puke over your keyboard... Make sure you hold on to your frustration and watch till 3.12 onwards.

Do you feel like hiring a professional killer now?

Feeling Shitty

Why am I feeling like this...

2. Messy bad quality hair, something like lalang
3. Bad skin
4. Gained weight
5. Wanted to deco my new room in the new house but not enough money
6. Damn slow internet, downloading an important file running on 973 bytes/sec
7. Stupid windows Starter only allows me to open 3 types of document at once, wtf
8. Blog awards is near and I probably will be the most fugly nuffie.

Photobucket
I gotten an injection last 2 weeks, due to gastric and diarrhea. Yea butt injection.
The dosage was that strong that I actually thought I am too sleepy and probably can't walk...
I was almost fainting...

So people, take care of your health, before you have faces like me.
The picture was snapped by my friend, saying that " Yea this is your sick face, better keep this in mind to remind you that you have to take care lah!"

Dog Lover

I always love dogs...
But there was this time, I remembered clearly, still fresh in my mind, that even my brother remembers what happen when I was young.

But before I start on what happen to me, let me share some super cute pictures of doggies that I captured during the pet's exhibition in Mid Valley some time ago.
Warning : Phone sucks in taking pictures, please don't mind the quality of the pictures.

The well dressed Schnauzer
Photobucket

I find this dog quite unique, straight blond fur and super flat and black face.
Photobucket

The emperor's dog (Quite pity him, because I thought it was quite hot in the exhibition hall)
Photobucket

One of my favourite breed ---> Chow chow puppies!!!
Photobucket
Photobucket

Another rare breed that I love ---> St.Bernard, where they call them Beethoven too
They are super huge, that when they stand, it's like my height, or even taller.
The fact that their saliva can be a bit too much =)
Photobucket
Photobucket

Ok back to the topic where I supposed to share.
I was only 5 or 6 years, where my brother was 11 or 12 years old. Both of us will always get ready for our evening plan ,that my brother will bring me to the basketball court and cycle a few rounds here and there.
That day, I was being mischievious, the red little Jestina devil told me to hide at the badminton court, which is down the stairs at the basketball court.
So spotted my brother was happily cycling , I quickly ran down to the stairs there and hide, waiting to give a fright to my brother and surprise him.

Waited anxiously, suddenly there is this feeling, that kind of feeling that when someone is staring at you, you can feel it, that was the feeling.
I slowly turn my head and check if there is anyone behind me... Suspect spotted, being very tiny, for that fact that I was only 6 years old, looking at this big white fury dog, looking at me, seeing saliva dripping from it's mouth, I moved upwards a bit, despite the fact that I still have the intention to surprise my brother, I did not want to go all the way up the stairs and show up.
But then, that big thing followed my moves, it moved a bit closer to me. I moved more, and it did too, but when I stopped, it stopped too. Keeping a distance between the dwarf and the beast, this time I moved quite a bit, and I guessed the patience was just limited, it started to run towards me!!!!

"Gor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The dog chasing me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I think that's the fastest speed I achieved so far in my life, I ran all the way up the stairs that I don't remember if I breath, all the way to my brother who was still happily cycling and never noticed that the little sister was missing for few minutes.

Crying and feeling scared, jumped on my brother's bicycle, I pointed at the dog, which was still running to us following the bicycle, I remembered my brother was laughing so hard that he almost fell down from his bike, saying that " Aiyor it's a friendly dog lah!! Scared what! Play lah, go hide some more and try to frighten me lah! This is what you get!" Occasionally he patted the dog on it's head, and it was indeed a friendly dog who just wanted to play with me when I was at the stairs.

So the outcome was :-
The plan to frighten and to surprise my brother
Status : FAIL

Result of the overall plan:-
I was crying all the way home, too frightened
and the worse case wasn't the crying factor...
It was the fact that...

Falling down... Falling down...

There is this morning, where I was listening to the radio, the DJs were talking about embarrassing moments in life, even some incidents where you will recall and have a good laugh about it.

Not to be mean, but I am someone who fails to control from laughing, especially at those moments where you shouldn't be laughing, being more specific, if I ever witness someone falling down in front of me, that's it, I will have to turn around and release the moment of laughter ( I know I'm bad, I should have help the person who fell down, but how? I can't be going up and laugh while lending a helping hand, such contradicting awkward moment)

Not to mention, I actually DO laugh at my own falls.
Not too long ago, I was talking to someone, where this topic we were discussing were falling down, awkward moments, then I told him " Oh you know, I actually fell down in the drain before..."
He said "Haha me too, I guess everyone juts have to be in the drain once in their life time, it usually happen when you are young, how old were you when that happen? Like 4 or 5 years old?"
Being a bit reluctant, I said " Erm well, it actually happened like 2 years ago..."

HE LAUGHED RIGHT AWAY!!!!!

OK this was what happened! Let's go back to that faithful night when things happened and left a mark on my thigh.

I was out with my ex for dinner, my brother came home at the same time when we both parked our car, everyone got off the car, brother mingle with my ex, and I grabbed my stuff and head to the stairs.

Here's the situation:
I always cross this deep drain in front of my house before I get to the stairs right up to my apartment, and it never fails, 100% success.
As the saying goes, if you believe in murphy's law, anything that can happen, will happen.

Broke the Jestina's record, instead of stepping to the other end of the drain, I stepped into the air...
!!!!!!!
The next second, I;m actually sitting in the drain, and both my brother and ex thought I went missing, until I start laughing while sitting in the drain.
"What the hell? What happen to you! Come up!" When my brother tried pulling me up...
"Gor no no, cannot, leg pain, let me sit here for a while 1st!" and erm, I continue laughing, I am actually laughing how funny if I were to see someone fell into the drain, I think I will laugh till I tear.

So practically a lot of my college mate knew I fell into the drain at the age of 22, some kaypo college mate being the KNN news caster. >.< Here are more falling down incidents:
I think I will need a longer time to recover from laughing if I were one of the anchor. I showed this clip to some of my friends, and they were like LOL WTH! CHICKEN FEET TREMBLING! WAHAHAHAHA!

Also the nuffies all time favourite, especially for Boss Stewie's and Kuzco's

There is another incident I wanted to share, but I think I need to draw some visuals to show the effect, it's call the 90 degrees fall, don't understand? I will explain in the next post!

Will end this post with a phrase from a friend who fell down right in front of me while we were walking back from the canteen during Form 6.
"Waaa shit.............. Was I very ugly when I fell down just now????!!!!"
As usual controlling my laughter, " Erm, have you seem anyone gracefully fell down before?"

The answer is NO. The fact that when your body lose control and fell down, it's just funny, sorry people!!

It’s Krrunch Time, Get Playful!

Krrunch....~~~~!!!!

Working can be so dull & boring, someone told me...

Dull like how? Dull as in...

1.You tend to see things in either black, grey or white...

2. It's so quiet that everyone just turn on the silent mode and do their own things in their own little office cubicle, no jokes, no interaction, no celebration...

2.You just got off from a bad jam, and you stuck your butt on the chair till night before you sit in the car and stuck your butt on the cusion and battle your way home through the traffic again...
The routine from Monday to Friday is
morning traffic ---> sitting in the office ---> evening traffic

Gosh how can anyone survive from this?! Just if we have some krrunchy thing going on, at least there is noise, at least there is taste and flavour, at least... THERE IS FUN!

Imagine employees using the krrunch sound as a new language, like "Hey you wanna take a breather?"
You krrunch 8 times! *Fail in inventing the new krrunch language*

Oh gosh, guess I better be good at advertising this time, I remembered I came across
this advertisement originated from Thailand while working on an assignment, we were laughing our ass off for over a week, no kidding, over a week!

Wanna check it out? Here you go

Cheers to every small things in life! Cheers to Pringles crispy chips!
*Open few cans of Pringles in the office, hugs everyone, tears of joy down the chin, feeling too satisfied that even the clients join in and nodded their heads in agreement.

Let the imagination push the 'Play' button in your head, and link the scenarios with the Thai Cheer Beer ad, you will be smiling, definitely!

Unlimited Songs? Serious?

Back then I remembered we listen to songs through cassette, and more depending on radio stations to play the favourite song, not to mention that owning a walkman, is the coolest thing, you can bring it anywhere you go, I used to have one of them!

But then the thing is, cassettes can only hold up to 10 songs, then brilliant science took a further step to fulfill our music taste bud, by inventing something you call CD, and there is where the Malaysian pirates make their business grow!

CD was too expensive to purchase, some even cost you RM40+, and you don't get to choose the songs that you like to be in the list, it's either the artist album, or the mixture of any other songs, where you might only want to listen to 1 and have no choice but to buy.

Soon enough, internet helped enhancing the taste buds, all sort of portals to download the songs that you like, well some are legal, some are not, legal ones might cost you a bit of money per song, and if illegal, you might end up having police officers knocking on your doors...

But now, mobile phones are in the picture for listening MP3, life is easier now, and to make it more easier, DiGi came out with something which people like us who loves music, will love it! ----> DiGi Music!

The main 1st point of this DiGi Music is....
YOU GET TO DOWNLOAD UNLIMITED MUSIC! ALL LEGAL!
Now you can proudly stand next to the police and show him your downloads, and you won't get handcuff, hohohoho!

Sharing is caring, YOU GET CREATE AND SHARE YOUR SONGS AND PLAYLIST!

To all our convenience, sometimes when you recall that the song that you like so much you have to download it right away, even when you are standing at the street without a pc, that's it, problem solved! ---> You get to download not only from your pc but phone too!!!

Seriously this is coolest, NO DATA CHARGES for WAP browsing and downloads!
Woohooo and also music experiences, like concerts, meets & greets!!!

So now,

Unlimited music, sharing playlist & songs, no data charges, downoading from pc & phone, and music experiences! Alllll heeereeee ----> http://digimusic.com.my/

Currently obsessed with this catchy song from The All-American Rejects

I wanna I wanna I wanna touch you~
You wanna touch me too~~ (Hmm touch where ahem *koff koff*)

Speedy Gonzalez : Join The Pact

Especially in Klang Valley, even when you own a damn good sports car, you just don't seems to have the chance to speed, mainly because there are two barriers stop us from speeding.

1. It's definitely the traffic! It jams all the way from point A to not even point B yet, maybe point A.5, you freaking need more time to reach the destination that it might only takes you half an hour?

2. It's when the road is clear once in a blue moon, and when you thought it's the good time to have your engine to make some noise and do a little speedy thing..... The front awaits you usually are the speed traps and there goes, you pay RM300 for a little speed.

So... Conclusion is, Malaysians like us, not like other countries where we have the government getting the people to be summon if they drive too slow, do not really get the chance to be in a speeding car, but well... I am now not talking about normal speed car, what is 150km per hour man? It's more on being on a rocket, far more, imagine having a ride on the F1 cars, where you can only drool over TV or feel the impact in your dreams, yes your dream is coming true, YOU REALLY HAVE TO RIDE ON THIS!

Johnnie Walker is making dreams come true, promoting the Don't Drink & Drive campaign, on top of that, the surprise is

Moving too fast?

Still in the office, going for Murderer screening in a while.

Nothing much, just felt like typing some stuff here, and the internet is kinda slow, crawling, and NOT beating the snails, hmmm...

I remembered there was once, the line was so bad that we can't do anything in the office at all, that some had to go to the nearest Starbucks to complete work.

And when it was up a little, me as in trying to send a file across to client..

See that, you need a freaking 4 hours to attached a file!
The hours of waiting made me recall the days when I have to download games (Ragnarok Online) from the website, it sometimes ended up having to wait a day, or day(s)...
Wonder how our patience gotten so limited if we remember using dial up line to connect to the internet, that familiar irritating dial tone "Tuuuuuu... Tiiiii...."
That was when you want to curi online in your brother's room also cannot, cause he won't allowed you to go on ICQ, sure kena caught one! *That's it, caught red handed, before you get to connect and even sign into ICQ, your brother will pull out the plug from outside.*

Now we are getting more fast pace in everything we do, we want everything to go almost immediately, but often enough, we forget to slow down and feel things around us...
I think... I'm slowing down to feel things around me again...

Cheers people!

Here are some happenings

There was this fire drill practice today, where our 'top management' mentioned that we should all take part in this activity, just for a precaution and safety purpose if the real fire happens.
While loading my mailbox, read some chainmail within the nuffies about the fire drill, some replies wre indeed happy, cause they can skip due to meetings with client, but for those who don't have meetings and will be in the fire drill ---> 1st thing in mind----> 14th floor....
Wahlau!

Clock strikes 3PM, alarm rang!
These are the conversations in the office
"Aiyak we didn't make it in time to cabut!" The people who suppose to leave the office and think they will be skipping the 14th floor exercise
"Ei wait wait can I go to the toilet 1st!?" Wadafak... Fire vs Pee, pee wins
"Ei yor I haven't finish this mail to the client wei..." Ok this might be someone really familiar but...
"Oi faster go out can onot? If got fire everyone die already!"
"Need to bring bags down ar?"

Recalling it, it was a LOL moment...

Selambe saja, the nuffies went down from 14th floor to G floor, and kinda sniffing the strong breeze in the afternoon, and when everything ends, it's already 4pm.
We were just standing there... Doing nothing...

Somehow it looks like some riot thingy from here... Hmm...
Well it's a good opportunity to know our neighbours whom we share the lift with everyday...

There is this night, where Zac was here, he showed us his tshirt, which I think it's kinda cute, I think... I will wear it out if i have this, how bout you! Hohoho...

Also watched the "Orphan", don't mean to spoil the movie but... Wadafak is with a 33 year old with a 9 year old body! ----> CREEPY

Cheers!!!

Sunday flies

Sunday...

The month of August just started, and I'm officially broke, again...
Yes spending a bit here and there, well that's what money are for right? I need better financial plannings, ish...

Right I bought myself a phone, not going to say which model but hell, I'm loving it hohoho...
While trying to clean the memory card from my old phone, found some pictures...
Here are some of the few pictures I snap during the JCI Award

Oh for those who has always known Firdy, this is your only chance to see him in formal, I mean formal as in nice suit and tie, darn good ok!

Cant resist that I die die also must take a picture with him, in his power armour, fuyoohhh!

Finally with the important man in Nuffnang, the country manager, whom Firdy claims that he smiles fakely taking pictures with me, wtf!

My latest etc thoughts are:-
The acne that are growing happily on my forehead
The books I bought but haven't even gotten the time to read them yet
The dust that my room is welcoming
The weight that I'm putting on so easier and freaking difficult to lose them
The jeans that I had since Form 3 might not fit my giant waist and butt
The clothing that I seldom wear eating up my wardrobe's space
The thought of how am I suppose to move all the stuff in my room to my new house when I shift

Someone claim that I have an army of teddies on my bed... Trust me, before I donated some to the orphanage, I guess it was an empire back then, but heck I did not buy them...
Was thinking shall I donate my armies or keep them? But these are some of the precious one though, decided to keep it.

I'm trying hard not to leave emo footprints on my blog anymore, and I realized I have nothing much to write, fts...
Next week... Supposedly it should be a blardy busy week for me and the rest of the nuffies, and if anyone of you are going for the movie screenings, I guess I can't join for District 9 (I wanted to watch this movie!), as I have to attend another function on the same day, blah~

Feelings...

It's been quite sometime since I last felt like this...
I'm feeling tired... Not physically, but mentally...

I think, I overheated my brain that I thought I should expand the percentage of normal usual brain usage, which is 4% to like maybe 6% or even 10%.
I guessed if I were to expand to 10%, you will see me building new rocket models and planning how to transfer human to other planet before the earth crash...

But well, the conclusion is... I just think too much...
I'm officially tired of thinking and I love having work to cover what I am thinking...

Oh well, just a quick update...
I graduated... Weeheee...

And... I missed studying... Yes I know I'm such a weirdo...

Malaysian be punctual lah!

All this while when we called those who are late, the usual words would be "Hey ya ya I'm on my way... On my way..!"

But then the on the way seems to be a really long journey.
So I guess, Malaysians are lacking of time management.

This is so much more to be proven during wedding dinners, when the wedding invitation stated down 7pm, earliet it might start at 8pm, considering yourself lucky, because I attended one that started at 9pm+, basically it's dinner turn supper...

DiGi mms held up a contest, to allowed Malaysian like us, to express creatively on how we can improve Malaysia.
http://www.nuffnang.com.my/digi-speak-up-malaysia/digi-how-to-win

My way?
Malaysian should be more punctual!

Don't you agree?

Tribute - Yasmin Ahmad

Yasmin Ahmad

Woke up this morning to find out that Yasmin Ahmad has passed on…
Honestly saying, the impact was greater than the leaving of Michael Jackson.

She (Yasmin Ahmad), is one person I really look up too, for the sake of Malaysia’s film industry, that she is by far I know, someone who managed to brought up the film and advertising industry in Malaysia to a greater level, greatly the eye opener to all Malaysians.

Every festive season, I will always hunt for her long ad, that I was actually waiting for the Merdeka ad, which I know for sure it will be good, and yes no question ask and no doubt about it.

Unfortunately, good things always come to an end, the greater it is, and the faster it ends. Guess I won’t be seeing any ads which will have the quality content like hers, but I hope one day when I turn on the TV, I will see some local ads which will give me the great impact as she does, in fact all the time. She was the one that I started collecting advertisements as a collection, just for the sake of watching it over and over again, and wonderful enough, you don’t get bored over it.

I don’t have to say more on why the impact is great, on every Malaysian, and I was honour to have met her in person when she gave a speech during the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival, I remembered she shared this story…

“When I was having this meeting with the director for the Merdeka ad, I wanted to use this little boy as the main actor for the ad, but I got all the rejection from the directors asking why do I choose an Indian boy to be in the great Merdeka ad? I said I did not choose an Indian boy, I chose a Malaysian in the ad!”
One Little Indian Boy

Now you know?! Why?! Her films gave such great impact? We often draw lines within race in Malaysia; we often forget that we are Malaysians, which her films are those that always try best to pull our mindset back to the concept of unity. Some people said her films are controversial enough, that is why people love watching it. But I say NO, her films are true Malaysian films that Malaysia supposes to be.
Some of her great films are like... In fact I shall say all her films are good.
(Sepet, Gubra, Muallaf, Mukhsin and those festive ads that you will never want to miss)
Here are some of the videos I would like to share, just if you haven't come across to these great ads, and my A+ ranking ads too....

Background of this Tan Hong Ming advertisement.

It’s indeed the greatest loss for all Malaysians, and hope one day, we will be seeing true Malaysian films again. Yasmin Ahmad, you are greatly missed.

Down with flu

I'm again down with flu, and tomorrow is my convocation...
Wonder why I felt tired thinking of convocation, thinking of the time and energy that's gonna be drain throughout the day, gaaah!

Wanted to wear mask but I can't breath properly, already having a nose blocked, wearing another mask is gonna be like a tunnel with no exit.

This was taken when I was down with flu last month..

Drown yourself with water people!
Yes drown is the word.

Urbanscape 2009

Ok the very 1st warning is that, very few pictures (Have to steal some from Miao too), because I was rushing out and forgot to bring my camera!!!

Was there with Miao for Urbanscape, before reaching the destination, all I knew was rushing here and getting lost somewhere, making wrong turns and another few wrong turns...
*That cat was laughing at KL people getting lost in their territory... If you ever get lost in Malacca or Sarawak, even if I don't know how to draw I die die also will draw the LOL face for you ok Miao?*

So yea reached there, crowd was ok, but the very 1st thought of us is to get in some place where there is air-cond, cause the weather was freaking hot!

Basically there were little art everywhere, which I would call them IDEAS, plenty of cute little things you will get inspired for some creative deco, like

I kinda like this, maybe I will do one in my room when I shift to my new house, so can "pik che", which means chase ghost (direct translation)

I always have the love for this kind of miniature, which it's expensive to collect!

Wooohoooo love the caption of the tshirts, do you dare to wear it out? Like when meeting your love one's parents LOL

Don't you wish your necklace was nice like mine! Dont'cha!

Why things can be this cute? Why!!! Worst thing is that it doesn't belong to me!!!

*drooling*

Miao said it's good to stuff me inside, so no need to walk me around... That cat...

Whatever this is, I've no clue for what does this meant, art is always meant to be vague

The Miao with that Japanese style (camera hanging around the neck)

These are some of the stolen pictures from Miao

This is art people! ART! Accepting bra hanging out nowhere!

The stoodles reminded me of Raving Rabbits, those crazy rabbits!

Finally, the cow with the jester hat and Miao
(Why am I the cow, better ask Miao, I've no idea)

Next year Urbanscape! Must go again! But wallet must be loaded with cash too, weeheeee!!!

5th July 2009 12.14am

The title of this post, makes me felt like I am writing some daily report, wadafak...

I realized I've been falling asleep so easily, and the worst is, I am falling asleep some part of my home, not only my bedroom...

This is me waking up at 12am in the hall, and 4 misscalls on my mobile.
"Ei sorry I fall asleep again, I think it's a sleeping curse, someone cast a spell on me!!!"

"Oh nvm, already suspected you fell asleep somewhere in your house, thank god it's not in the toilet or something ke..."

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another call came in while...
"Oi you sleep already? MSN no reply? I scared you fall asleep on the computer desk..."

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously, I think I need some therapy to cure this, or seek some bomoh ke apa...
>.<

Well... Ji mui(s) were at Macau while I am in Malaysia, how can!
Had a webcam session with them while I was in the midst of rushing some work, worth it ok! Both of them are my more than a century old buddies, seriously, they are more than diamonds or what so ever treasure on earth.

Just a random post, no typical updates, actually there are plenty to update, just that... I hate my keyboard, it's so difficult to type, maybe that's why... *giving excuses*

OK Urbanscape up next! Featuring Miao and Jester >.<

About the haircut thingy, I will really go for a haircut, soon! Weeheee...
Staying home on a Saturday night with some smooth music, me love...
